Emergency Services Officer: Provide emergency rescue coverage at multiple mine sites throughout Queensland and NSW; • Maintain all equipment and vehicles in a state of readiness to ensure the security, safety and maintenance of allocated equipment and goods to support the effective functioning of the site including driving and operation of Fire Appliance. • Completion of Job Safety Analysis (JSA’s), Job Safety Environmental Analysis (JSEA’s), Safe Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) • First response medical treatment to OFA level; • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all interactions and outcomes when treating patients; • Consult with the client to undertake risk assessments on activities the client requests on site; • Promote and participate in initiatives aimed at ensuring a safe work environment; • Ensure all hazards and incidents are immediately reported and corrective actions are implemented; • Conduct controlled burns to reduce the risk of damage; • Provide Drug & Alcohol Testing.
