Worked As Driver super Quad Road trains (Kenworth T908 T904) at Rivet Mining Services Port Hedland from June 2021 to till now
RTO carting iron ore from MRL mines at Iron Valley and Wonmunna. Safely operating in mine environments. The super quads are 60m long and gross between 195 and 210 tonnes. The ore is carried in side tipper trailers that we tip at the Utah Port site in Port headland.

May 2013: After moving north to Queensland I was offered the position of National Operations Manager with AEG Interstate Transport. As this position holds a high degree of accountability I have had to up skill myself in my spare time I am currently undertaking a Cert 4 in T&A and also about to start a Cert 4 in WH&S. I have just completed the renewal of my BFM manager’s protocols. I am responsible for the day to day operations of the fleet of 48 line haul tow operators and the local fleet of trailers and body trucks. I oversee the warehouse and staff involved in the storage and distribution we do for various customers.
We are currently going through a period of re building with a few years of previous corruption costing the company some industry credibility. I do envisage that by the start of 2014 the company will be back in full flight.
I am working on various new proposals for a few major nation companies to work with them providing a total transport solution for their national distribution. My other duties have included visits to our interstate depots and customers to ascertain if we are providing them with the best possible transport ideas. Our fleet work shop has just become NHVR accredited and I work closely with a very professional team of mechanics to ensure our fleet is maintained to the highest possible standards and maintain our accreditation.

I conduct audits for PPE and induction/access and compliance with regulated driving hours under the BFM scheme, also I am required to audit the fleet making sure that ALL vehicles are compliant with the guidelines set by BHP for mine site access and that they are kept in the highest state of roadworthiness. I was required to conduct both random and targeted Drug and Alcohol testing and also the mandatory testing due to a reportable incident occurring.
As part of my roster I am required to fill the role of senior fleet allocator on Friday and Saturday nights this role is high pressure and tests my ability to plan up to 3 hours ahead for the allocation of trucks and other resources needed to keep the 3 mine sites and the 2 washeries running and supplied with raw coal while ensuring that the targeted movement of clean coal to port is achieved. This sometimes involves the re-routing of resources at very short notice hence the ability to foresee the possible future changes in production
