The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for 2 hands on, adaptable, Water Truck/Grounds Maintenance people to join our Landscape team. You will be based at Essendon Fields and or Clyde. You will operate a Water Truck and assist with grounds maintenance duties as required, at our range of high profile clients in the North-West and South East. You will work in a dynamic, fast paced team environment and undertake the following duties including:
- Operation of a water truck to water garden beds, streetscapes, trees and turf areas;
- Assist with a range of grounds maintenance duties including hedging, weeding, leaf and rubbish removal;
- Use of a range of supplied garden maintenance tools;
- Some spraying of chemicals may be required; and
- You will also be required to comply with Super Gardens HSEQ standards.
Experience and Skills:
Essential
- Be physically fit and enjoy working outdoors;
- A manual licence is essential;
- A strong customer focus;
- Attention to detail; and
- A flexible, team player with strong communication skills.
Highly Regarded
- A Medium Rigid (MR) licence is desirable but not essential as training will be provided if required and;
- A background or interest in Grounds Maintenance.
This role will require you to work a minimum of 38 hours per week. Additional hours may be required from time to time including some weekend work.
