Water Truck Operator/ Labourer
IMMEDIATE START
Expanding Water Truck company with work in the Brisbane and Gold Coast regions, is looking for new team members to join them, in operating water trucks.
We are seeking highly self-motivated and enthusiastic Water Truck drivers for an immediate start with positions located between South Brisbane and the Northern Gold Coast.
These roles require flexibility not only with daily duties from Monday to Friday but also working some Saturdays.
These positions will be initially on a casual basis. Positions available for both full time and part time/job share.
Responsibilities and Duties
Operating trucks of various sizes ranging from single & dual axle water trucks.
Collect and return truck at our yard based in Yatala (as needed).
Truck Care – regular cleaning both inside and out.
Perform daily pre-starts. Advise management of any maintenance, repair or service needs.
These positions will require the successful applicants to have extensive experience in operation the of a water truck in the civil construction industry and infrastructure projects.
Qualifications and Skills
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience operating water trucks on civil construction sites and infrastructure sites
Experienced in final trim works
Operating water trucks to the needs of compaction rollers, graders & various earthmoving equipment
Have working knowledge of dust suppression needs onsite
QLD HR licence
Construction White Card
Metered Standpipe ticket (preferred)
VOC’s for water truck (preferred)
Roller driver ticket is (desirable)
Be able to work autonomously or in a team environment with a strong work ethic
