WERINGA PTY LTD is a transport company servicing the steel industry and others from Lara, Victoria.
Most loading is ex Melbourne Wharf district.
– Position is FULL time and Permanent after qualifying period (up to 3 mths).
– Minimum 38 hrs .
– 10 hr days are the norm.
– Superannuation is paid.
– Sick leave and Holiday pay accrued after 3 month qualifying period.
– Hourly rate is above Award.
– Hourly rates stated are Flat rates with no penalties.
– All new employees will start as casuals for 3 month period.
– $27.60 for HC ,$29.70 for MC per hour Full Time
– Higher per hour while Casual

The applicants for these positions will have the following Skills and Qualities
– Excellent work ethic with the ability to self motivate.
– Ability to apply load restraint and work with Ratchet style tensioners and chains
– Impeccable Driving record
– Sound work history with References
– 2 years commercial driving experience minimum is desirable
– HC or MC drivers licence as applicable
– Tidy appearance
– Ability to administer basic Time sheets and delivery documents
– Ability to converse fluently in English
Previous experience transporting steel , use of dogs chains and use of small tarps will be an advantage..
MSIC card an advantage.
VICROADS printout of Points and Convictions will be required.
This position is available for immediate start.
