Russell Transport is a medium sized family road transport business based in Eagle Farm, Brisbane. With a growing fleet and a diverse range of transport, warehousing and crane businesses, Russell Transport offers the right candidate the opportunity for a long term career.
We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Combination Driver for a multi drop delivery role based in one of our blue-chip contracts on the Northside of Brisbane. Delivery drops will extend as far north as Rockhampton, with the possibility of overnight work being offered in the future.
The successful applicant will require steel delivery experience as well as:
- Load restraint experience
- Heavy Combination (HC) License
- Multi Drop experience
- Very good knowledge of the greater Brisbane area, as well as the Gold Coast, Gympie and Toowoomba regions
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test and Medical
- Great customer service focus
- Driver fatigue and Safety conscious
- Vehicle mounted crane experience (preferred)
- MSIC card holder (preferred)
If successful you will be given on the job training with our Cert 4 Driver Trainer. We are well known for our safety and driver fatigue focus and expect our drivers to comply with all areas of our Trucksafe accreditation and legislation.
Hours of work will vary between 5:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work available, but not guaranteed.
