We are currently looking for experienced Shunt Drivers (HC Licenced) with extensive general and ugly freight, working knowledge of Chain of responsibility and load restraint exposure to join our Resource & Industrial team in Hazelmere, WA.

Position Overview
We are currently looking for experienced Shunt Drivers (HC Licenced) with extensive general and ugly freight, working knowledge of Chain of responsibility and load restraint exposure to join our Resource & Industrial team in Hazelmere, WA.
You duties will include:
Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus.
Day to day operation of shunt truck
Daily Pre Start checks on vehicles and equipment
Restraining loads using chains, ratchet chains and straps
Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling trailers and tug test produces
Achieving the Linfox vision ZERO and customer safety goals in direct areas of responsibility and adhering to all relevant OH&S legislative, policy and procedural requirements.
In order to be successful, you will have the following skills, experience or licenses:
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating double and triple road train configurations.
Extensive experience with coupling and uncoupling trailers, setting up road trains
Proficiency in all aspects of truck operations from single trailer combination through to double road trains.
Good understanding of load restraint and previously us of chains, ratchet chains and straps.
Possess a HC/MC Licence.
High customer service skills, good communication, written and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.
