The Position
The successful applicant will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of heavy duty
machinery to carry out civil construction and maintenance work on Council roads, both rural
and urban, recreation services, town streetscapes, Council properties and other properties
under Council control.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant must hold a current MC Driver Licence. The successful applicant
will have a demonstrated knowledge and experience with the operation and maintenance of a
MC Truck.
Salary and Conditions
The position is classified at Level 6 under the Queensland Local Government Industry State
Award 2017 and offers a nine day fortnight, 4 weeks annual leave per annum and a cash
annual wage component (including allowances) of $56,131.
