1800 DRIVERS is a recruitment agency specialising in the Transport Industry. The industry runs 24/7 and so do we. We are looking for a Night Owl to handle the phones while the trucks are moving the freight around Australia and the rest of the world sleeps.
The Role
We are a labour hire business, providing truck drivers to transport companies around Australia. It’s our job to ensure that the Right Person is put in the Right Truck and this is the way that we help to keep Australia Moving.
Reporting to the After Hours Team Leader you will utilise your exceptional administration & organisational skills to provide a high level of service to clients and candidates alike. This particular position appeals to someone who is flexible to work varied hours on a week to week basis. Perfect opportunity for someone looking for a work life balance, a secondary income, or perhaps a student or mum returning to the workforce.
Taking the phones over at 6:30pm and handing them back at 6:30am, 3 – 4 nights per week you will be assisting with keeping it operating smoothly, by
- Ensuring that drivers arrive in the right place at the right time and that clients remain informed
- Handling urgent orders
- Responding to any incidents that might occur
The successful applicant will have a number of weeks training (paid) in our office at Underwood, in Brisbane. Opportunities exist for applicants to move to full time work in the future.
Who you are:
- Ideally have previous experience in a similar role
- This is night work, if you are a night owl it will suit
- Process driven with attention to detail
- Great interpersonal skills
- Social Media savvy
- Excellent home internet connection, so you can work from home
- Strong computer skills
- Previous transport industry experience an advantage
- Looking for some extra money to pay the bills
- Available for an immediate start
