We process extracted quartzite rock to produce a diverse range of quality quarry products that service the Fleurieu and Adelaide regions and beyond.

OUR QUARRY OPERATION
Fitzgerald Quarries is located on Fitzgerald Road at Wattle Flat and operates Monday – Friday from 7am to 4pm. We also have an office and workshop located in Yankalilla.
The quarry employs various plant including loaders, excavators and crushers and produces several products including:
– Rubble
– Quarry Sand
– Gravel
– Landscape Rock
– Rammed Earth
Our products are sold ex-bin or delivered by our truck fleet.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a multi-skilled plant operator. Key responsibilities of this role are:
– Experience in the operation of front end loaders, excavators, heavy vehicles and crushing plants
– Maintenance duties including but not limited to screen and crusher changes
– Daily inspection of stockpiles to ensure material quality
– Completing pre-start inspections on equipment, including recording and reporting of issues
– Reporting all hazards or safety incidents to management
– Ensuring all work areas and equipment are maintained in a safe manner
– Liaising with the quarry manager to prioritise production & supply requirements
ABOUT YOU
– Minimum HC Drivers Licence.
– Truck & dog experience advantageous.
– Commitment to safety, integrity, innovation and collaboration.
WHAT'S ON OFFER
– Initial casual position with regular ongoing work. Approx 45-50 hours/week.
