United Foodservice is looking for an experienced and exceptional Medium Rigid Truck Driver on a casual basis.
We are a leading food supplier to the Café and Take Away industry servicing business' all across Melbourne Metro and surrounding regional areas. We are a seeking an experienced Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Driver to work in an ongoing casual role based in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. The role will involve between 20 – 30 hours per week.
The role will involve both multi-drop deliveries around Melbourne Metro as well as manual labour in and out of our warehouse.
Role and Responsibility
- Performing multi-drop truck deliveries around Melbourne Metro and regional areas
- Drive vehicle to destinations in accordance with regulations and company procedures
- Monitoring temperatures of chilled and frozen products and maintaining a temperature logbook throughout the day
- Cash handling and liaising with customers
- Hand loading and unloading stock on Truck
To be considered for the job you will be required to possess:
- Have a valid MR Truck License (minimum of LR)
- Have a clean driving history
- Have a LF Forklift license (not essential)
- The ability to meet strict deadlines and manage priorities
- Be presentable and have good communication skills
- Have your own personal protective equipment (PPE) including Steel Cap boots, High Visibility Vest and appropriate Work Wear
