Larkara Transport are a small transport firm servicing the freight requirements of Goondiwindi, Inglewood, Texas, St George and their surrounding areas.
Job tasks and responsibilities
This position requires the travel to and delivery of freight to our clients in the Inglewood Texas area.Deliveries can vary from a small carton to a bulk pallet delivery.Private homes as well as businesses are serviced.
Skills and experience
Clean MR licence is required. Forklift ticket is desirable but not essential. Excellent customer relations, we want our rep to be friendly and approachable and communicate efficently.
This position requires a lot of physical movement and carrying/lifting of various freight etc, so someone who is relatively fit would suit. The run is also quite busy, so being organised with paperwork and delivery orders would be an advantage.
Scanners are used for some deliveries, but training will be supplied for these.
Early morning starts – 3.30 am.
This is a full time position, with a 3 month trial period.
The general basic care of the truck would also be required.
