The Company
Transedel Livestock Carriers is a company specialising in the transportation of cattle. The company was established in 1999 with the firm aim of providing premium standards of service and reliability to their customers. The company primarily carts cattle in Victoria and New South Wales with the main depot being in Maffra, Victoria.
The company has a number of stable, long-term customers due to their good reputation and dependable service within the market. Reliability and excellent customer service are crucial to the Transedel operation.
Due to a large influx of work, we are expanding our fleet and therefore looking to bring on two new drivers to the team.
About The Role
This is a driving position that requires the individual to mainly transport Hay – long haul between Beulah and Maffra. You will need to have an MC licence and preferably some experience with cattle as you may be required to deal with livestock transportation on occasions.
The company has new equipment so it will be your responsibility to make sure all gear is well maintained and any issues are raised as appropriate. You must be a person who takes pride in their work, self managing with a “can do” attitude.
This is a full time role and as a hard working individual, you will be generously rewarded for your time. You must be able to spend nights away from home and drivers usually get home once a week.
About you
This role would suit an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a good attitude. To be successful in obtaining this role you must:
• Have a MC licence
• Have experience with cattle/livestock;
• Have excellent time management;
• Be very reliable;
• Be physically fit and healthy;
• Have good communication skills;
• Demonstrate organisational skills;
• Have the ability to work unsupervised;
• Have a strong work ethic;
• The candidate must agree to drug & alcohol testing.
