The MC Road Train Driver / Yardman position is a local Kalgoorlie position that is offered on a permanent full-time basis on a 5&2 roster. Office and workshop facilities are modern and we have a great team environment. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Transportation of personnel, parts and equipment from and to site
• Allocating and moving different vehicle and equipment types around the yard
• General yard duties maintenance including toilet upkeep
• Operating MC Road Trains and forklifts when required
• Assisting with float moves in and around the Goldfields area
Our Criteria – Your Skills :
• Current Multi-Combination (MC) Drivers Licence (essential)
• Pilot course licence to assist with oversize float moves (or willingness to gain one)
• Forklift licence
• A genuine commitment to safety and ability to work unsupervised
• Previous quad road train and side tipper experience
• Demonstrated experience in driving heavy bulk vehicles, other large machinery and yardman tasks
All candidates must supply a drivers licence history check and recent National Police Clearance (less than 6-months old), and have the ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug/alcohol screening.
