Followmont Transport is a large family owned business established in 1983. Today Followmont Transport employs over 600 staff, utilises the service of over 150 subcontractors, and owns and operates a 600 vehicle fleet throughout Queensland. Followmont Transport’s primary business is providing general freight services throughout Queensland and Northern NSW.

Skills and Requirements
- Valid MC License is essential
- Forklift Licence
- Experience operating B-double vehicle
- Previous linehaul, shuttle or Interstate experience
- Clean and tidy presentation
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Flexibility with working varied hours
- Good communication skills
- Safe driving record
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight to and from required destinations
- Couple and uncouple trailers
- Complete vehicle inspections and pre-start assessments
- Accurately complete and maintain drivers logbook
- Complete and check required paperwork e.g. run sheets, change over sheet and load plan
- Ensure conduct as a driver does not compromise road safety or legislative requirements
