MC Interstate Drivers – Perth Based
GKR Transport is a family owned Transport Company specialising in Transport, Storage and Distribution with strategically placed depots across Australia. We provide a quality range of services including interstate and local transportation, warehousing and time critical freight solutions.
We are currently seeking experienced MC Interstate drivers to join our organisation based in our WA depot.
Requirements:
- Current MC license
- Basic Fatigue Management accreditation essential
- Cert III – Load and Secure Cargo essential
- Extensive knowledge of transport compliance regulations
- Current license history report
- Clean driving record
- Flexibility with working varied hours
- Clean and tidy presentation
- Team player with good communication skills
- Will have an understanding of Work Health & Safety and Chain of Responsibility
Responsibilities:
- Safely transporting freight to and from required destinations
- Perform a pre-trip inspection on prime mover & trailers
- Complete and check required paperwork e.g. National log sheets, change over sheet and Journey Management Plans
