Centurion is a privately owned transport company with a long and successful history of delivering safe and environmentally-aware supply chain solutions to the mining, energy, construction and retail sectors. The Centurion depot in Kalgoorlie are looking for a resident MC Driver to join their team.
You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Loading and unloading of general, over-dimensional, refrigerated and dangerous goods freight
- Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements
- Carrying out vehicle pre-start checks
- Transporting freight in a safe and efficient manner to and from customer sites and depots
- Ensuring all freight loaded matches the paperwork
You will need to possess the following to be successful in the role:
- Current MC Driver’s license
- Demonstrated experience driving double/triple road trains
- General freight experience
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Accredited forklift ticket (desirable)
- Dangerous goods license (desirable)
