MC Driver ( Sadleirs Logistics )

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable MC driver for our depot in Wacol Brisbane, to provide safe and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the safe transport and loading of goods including the strapping down of load whilst adhering to correct loading procedures and manual handling techniques
• Collecting freight from suppliers and delivering to the depot 
• Collecting, processing and handling of freight con-notes and other freight documentation
• Displaying correct signage and completing Dangerous Goods paperwork, if relevant
• Ensuring that pre-start safety checks are completed on the vehicle 

To be considered for this role you will have the following:

• Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience in a similar role 
• Current MC Driver’s Licence
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong commitment to Sadleirs values and safety requirements
• Positive attitude and reliable 
• The ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical, commercial driver’s test and drug & alcohol screen
