Casual position delivering turf for a Brisbane based, family owned and operated business.
Brisbane Turf Traders Pty Ltd was established in 2001 to service commercial, trade and retail markets. We pride ourselves on delivering premium quality turf coupled with exceptional customer service. We operate a small fleet of well maintained Volvo FM11 trucks fitted with Moffatt forklifts out of our Brassall depot. Brisbane Turf Traders is an equal opportunity employer. We are a smokefree workplace.
Daily maintenance checks on both trucks and forklifts. The safe operation of ALL machinery at ALL times.
Travelling from depot to various turf farms in the south-east corner to load.
Delivering turf from Northern NSW up to the Central QLD coast and as far west Charleville. The majority of work is within 100km radius of depot.
Requires the ability to operate and load/unload turf and other lanscaping materials in a safe manner in a wide range of conditions and locations. Seatbelts are to be worn at all times when operating any Brisbane Turf Traders machinery.
More often than not, you will be the front line and first face a Brisbane Ture Traders customer will meet. A posative attitude with good problem solving skills is essential.
Keep all machinery clean and well presented.
Some cash handling is required.
An above award rate of pay that will increase annually based on posative performance.
Possible fulltime position in the future.
A low stress workplace in modern, well maintained vehicles.
Consistant weekly hours 30-50.
