We have an impressive portfolio and provide premium services from landscape design and construction to garden maintenance throughout Victoria.
About the opportunity:
Due to growth in our business we are seeking a Driver (HC), Yardman – All Rounder
This is a unique role that would suit someone who no longer works on the tools but still has a lot to offer and is keen to play an important role in our team.
The role:
This position would be responsible for maintaining our head office warehouse located in Tullamarine. Ideally you will have a forklift licence to enable you to move things around the warehouse as necessary.
Another key component of this job will be delivering supplies to our job sites. For this you must have a Heavy Combo truck licence and be comfortable with loading and unloading supplies and machinery(training can be arranged)
You will also be required to clean our trucks and machinery.
To be mechanically minded would certainly be an advantage as would having machine licences such as excavator and skid steer.
An understanding of OH&S responsibilities is essential. You must have your induction card (white card).
This is a full time role but hours may be flexible for the right candidate, some weekend work and overtime will be required.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- Valid Heavy HR licence with road ranger experience,
- Current OHS Construction Induction (white card)
- Excellent communication skills
- An understanding of OH&S responsibilities
It would be an advantage if you had:
- Forklift licence
- Machine licences
- National Police Check
To be successful in this role you must be reliable and possess a pleasant demeanour. You will need to be able to work as part of a team and autonomously and have excellent communication skills. You must have a can-do attitude and be willing to fit into a positive culture.
