Our Company
The Alex Fraser Group is engaged in construction materials recycling and asphalt production and paving. We operate five facilities in Melbourne, two in Brisbane and employ around 270 people. This role is based at Archerfield.

About the Opportunity
Alex Fraser Group is looking to expand its hook lift operation hours. We require drivers to perform night work, driving a hook lift truck around the Brisbane metro area, collecting and dropping off bins at customer sites.
- Immediate start to successful applicants
- Trucks based at Archerfield
- Start time approximately 7pm however this may vary slightly due to customer requirements
- As this is a new operation some adjustments to times may be required
- This adjustment will be discussed with the successful candidates
- This is a casual role with potential of growing to expand into permanent full time role
We offer a modern fleet of Iveco Stralis trucks, predictable hours and a positive team environment. Hourly rate for an experienced driver is based on $25.97/hr base rate (plus casual 25% and shift allowance of 17.5%) plus overtime and $21.02/day travel allowance.
You must have, as a minimum, a Heavy Rigid license and a clean driving record for the last 5 years. You will also have a positive attitude; take pride in your vehicle and your conduct as a professional driver.
