Alvaro Transport is a leading privately-owned logistics company providing Local Distribution and Contract Management throughout NSW and VIC.
Alvaro are currently seeking drivers to join their professional team who are; safety focused, reliable with a keen eye for detail, liaising with customers ensuring successful delivery of freight, work within WH&S processes and policies and are extremely committed to the business and it's needs.
YOUR Responsibilities:
Driving to delivery locations throughout Sydney Metro (Regional may be required)
Ensuring freight has been loaded in manifest delivery order and secured accordingly
Experience in multi-drop and/or critical time slots
Maintaining driving records (e.g.: run sheets, work diaries and any applicable receipts)
Inspecting / undertaking vehicle checks in accordance with NHVAS
Interacting in a professional, courteous & respectful manner with customers when delivering freight, obtaining signatures and providing delivery documentation
Providing a Daily Run Sheet with associated paperwork to Managers/Supervisors
YOUR Qualification/Experience:
Higher School Certificate
Minimum 2 years' experience as a commercial driver
Valid, Driver's license with no restrictions (HR, MR)
Strong time management skills and work ethic
Sound communication – both verbal and written
Customer Focus with a can do attitude and 100% commitment to the Company
