We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Heavy Rigid Driver to join our dynamic and growing company. This position is located at our branch in Sunshine West.
This position will involve customer deliveries, hand and forklift unloading of deliveries, unloading and assembly of loads and other general duties in our warehouse. You will be joining a small team and will be required to work independently.
The successful applicants must have:
- HR Licence and extensive driving experience with good driving history
- Forklift Licence and experience
- Experience in Warehousing and fragile goods deliveries
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A professional manner and presentation
- Excellent customer service skills
- A good knowledge of the metro and surrounding regional areas
To secure this role you will need to have a good understanding of warehouse and distribution functions. You will work well on your own and enjoy working in a team environment and you will be reliable.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
