Citywide is seeking a Heavy Rigid Truck Driver to join our waste management team based in North Melbourne. The primary objective of this position is to collect waste or recyclable materials in a safe efficient manner whilst ensuring the cleanliness of streets and laneways.
You will be responsible for delivering this service as per Citywide standards, guidelines and SWMS.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving, operating & servicing City of Melbourne and Open Space areas clientele’s bins in a safe, effective and efficient manner.
Driver to carry out runs as per assigned run sheets. Driver to liaise with Supervisor/Team Leader with regards to route scheduling & sequencing.
All employees are required to work as a team, and help each other out as required and appropriate.
Skills Required:
Valid HR / Front Lift licence (essential)
A good driving record
Have sound knowledge of Melbourne suburbs
Strong focus and awareness of workplace OH&S
Strong communication and people skills
Excellent time management skills
