SA Chicken Manure is a leading supplied of chicken manure to the agricultural industry of South Australia, and we are coming up to our Peak Period where volumes are increasing and deliveries need to be done.
We require motivated individuals with bulk tipping experience in trucks and quad dog trailers, and a commitment to learn new skills such as Skid Steer operation and Telehandler operation. On the job training will be provided.
Our business provides full service to the poultry industry during the cleanout process, with a variety of tasks undertaken; keeping the job interesting.
Our trucks are based in Mount Pleasant, Balaklava, Nuriootpa and Murray Bridge
What are the day to day duties of our drivers typically?
- Remove chicken litter from shed corners with Skid Steer
- Using Telehandler, collect litter from shed and transfer into truck/trailer
- Maintaining good communication with customers by delivering as expected and on time
- Using mechanical broom on Skid Steer, sweep chicken shed
- Using Telehandler and Tubgrinder, load bales of straw for chopping
- Spread chopped straw in sheds with mechanical rake
- Maintain all equipment and trucks (basic level)
