Steeline Sydney require a permanent HC driver. Experience in local deliveries of steel roofing products required. Most deliveries are South West Sydney with perhaps 2 shuttle runs a week to Canberra. HIAB lic highly desirable as is a forklift lic. No long haul. Must be prepared to load and unload and do mulitple drops, and be prepared to drive a rigid when there is no work for the semi. Early starts and early finishes - be home for dinner.
Steeline Sydney is a family owned business offering a full time position to an HC driver that understands small business and the building industry.
Our steel roofing product business is located at Smeaton Grange in South West Sydney. We have just purchased a brand new Iveco Stralis – so new it is still at the sign writers and having its HIAB fitted. It will have a flat bed trailer for carrying flat and formed steel roofing products.
The job is delivering to our roofing customers at various construction sites so experience in delivering to residential areas where they may also be multiple trades working simultaneously is necessary. It is envisaged that there will probably be a shuttle run to our Canberra factory perhaps twice a week. There is no long-haul work.
You will need to work in with our small manufacturing team to identify loads and priorities and have good customer service skills.
