Friendly Fred’s Tree Services is a Macarthur based Tree Services company that has been serving the Greater Sydney Region for over 27 years.
We are currently expanding and looking for an experienced Groundsperson/Truck Driver on a full time basis for an immediate start to join our team in an inviting outdoor work environment.
Successful applicants will be responsible for the following:
Prior to leaving site must complete a vehicle assessment and load all required equipment for the day
Demonstrate exceptional truck driving ability including confidence to reverse a trailer in tight access situations
Support other ground crew during the performance of tree work and assist in site clean up
Complete light maintenance on hand tools including chainsaws and other small plant
Assist the climber in rigging activities and at times engage in physically demanding work including the removal of large tree and shrub debris with the assistance of a variety of equipment.
Criteria:
Minimum of MR (Medium Rigid) truck license
Strong communication and Interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Previous experience in a similar role
Commitment to a high work standard in a safe work manner
Work well in a team environment
