We are seeking a Experienced MC Truck Driver & General Depot Assistant, based in Myalup, WA.
This position is adding a third driver to our current team of two.
In addition, the position will regularly assist with various tasks around the Distribution & Packing Sheds.
We are looking for a motivated, hard-working person with a ‘can-do’ attitude who is always willing to lend a hand to assist in the everyday requirements.
The successful applicant will need the following:
Current MC Drivers Licence with adequate & relevant experience
MSIC Essential
Police Clearance
Medical Clearance
Current Forklift Ticket
Availability to work daily Monday to Friday
Ability to commence shift early every working morning
Capability to be flexible with finishing times on a daily basis
Availability to fulfil rostered weekend working hours
Ability to handle the completion of general paperwork
A good attitude and reliability
To be a local resident is beneficial
Previous experience transporting vegetables would be advantageous
The ideal candidate will also need to be able to:
Correctly and safely operating the Forklifts to load and unload products and supplies on and off of trucks
Move pallets based on lists, order sheets, verbal instruction and observation of requirements on the floor
Meet deadlines
Ensure proper packing and maintain quality standards
Uphold sanitation practices and understand the principles of HACCP
Be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced work environment
Work practically and manually using skills and knowledge
Be able to cope with the physical demands of the position
Be able to work within a team or autonomously
Possess good communication and organisational skills
Understand and have knowledge of OH&S
