The driver must be an experienced Heavy Rigid driver and be capable of manual and forklift unloading. Shifts are varied and may include some weekend work, early morning or evening finishes.
We are currently looking for multiple HR Drivers to work from our clients site at Rockle. You need to an experienced HR Driver to join the team casual and adhoc shifts with one of our major clients. You will be responsible for loading and unloading freight in safe manner and Pickup and Delivery in the Brisbane area and surrounding suburbs.
Duties
- Loading and unloading of general freight
- Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements
- Carrying out vehicle pre-start checks
- Ensure freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times
- Transporting freight in a safe and efficient manner to and from customer specified sites
- Ensuring all freight loaded matches the paperwork
- Safe driving record and commitment to creating a safe work environment
Skills and Experience
- Current HR Drivers licence
- Demonstrated experience in load restraints as per Australian standards
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Good time management skills
- Ability to take direction from supervisors
