We are seeking a Driver / Storeperson, based in Morningside, QLD.
Scholastic Australia, a leading publisher and distributor of children's books and educational material, is seeking an experienced driver for a Full-time Position based at Morningside, Brisbane.
A typical day will see you delivering mobile bookcases to schools in Brisbane and surrounds, occasionally resulting in an overnight trip to regional areas. Depending on delivery schedules you may also be required to assist with general warehouse duties which adds an element of variety to the role.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A customer-focused attitude matched with professionalism.
Flexibility and availability to work when required.
Current HR Licence and proven driving experience
LF high risk licence (preferred)
Sound mechanical knowledge and ability to undertake routine truck maintenance
Physical capability of manipulating heavy loads in a safe manner.
Please note that short-listed candidates will be required to undertake a series of checks including a pre-employment medical, satisfactory Driver's History Report, National Police Check and/or obtain a Blue Card.
