Delivery Truck Driver ( Action Aluminium )

We are a family owned and operated business. We are looking for a full-time Truck Driver/Store Person to join our friendly team based out of our Smithfield warehouse.

The main focus of your role involves deliveries in the Sydney metro area, the remainder of your time will be spent assisting in the warehouse with forklift and general stores work. You will need to be comfortable manually loading and unloading trucks, have exceptional customer service, a proficient knowledge of metropolitan Sydney and be able to perform warehousing duties as required.

Responsibilities Include:

• Operate the truck in a safe and consistently conservative manner
• Ensure that the truck is well maintained and serviced
• Liaising with other team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Accurate preparation of all delivery paperwork
• Assisting in general warehouse duties as required, including loading and unloading deliveries with forklift, sorting and packing customer orders.

To be successful the Individual will need:

• A background in Delivery and Warehousing roles
• Good organisational skills, ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work in a team environment
• Strong customer service approach with outstanding communication skills
• Must have the ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and heavy lifting up to 25kgs
• Understand and have an appreciation of OH&S principles
• A current NSW MR Licence is required
• Be able to provide a current RTA printout of your driving history
• A current NSW Forklift licence is desirable
