Established in 1991, we are a leading importer and distributor of products to Australia’s premier restaurants, patisseries, bars and hotels. We specialise in French products, carrying a range of fresh, chilled, frozen and shelf stable products in our line of products.
We are seeking a Full-time Delivery Driver who is enthusiastic, has good attention to detail, is hands on, not afraid of some hard work with a reliable work history to join our Sydney (Leichhardt) based team.
Job Role
As a delivery driver you will be responsible for carrying out deliveries to our clients on a day-to-day basis, as well as co-ordinating with sales staff and general office staff.
Your Daily Duties will include:
– Stock control
– Picking and packing of orders
– Carrying out deliveries to the Sydney metro area daily.
– Receiving orders and packing away deliveries
– Assisting the warehouse store person, which will include stock management such as receipt, checking and putting away incoming stock; picking, packing, loading and consigning orders for despatch interstate and out of town; stock take & stock reconciliation
– Maintaining a high standard of general cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse and vehicles
– General administration including some basic computer work
The successful applicant will have / be:
– Australian Nationality
– A current Class C NSW driver’s license
– Current police check
– A strong work ethic and an ability to work either autonomously or in a team environment
– Physically fit (some lifting of 30kg +/- from time to time)
– Presentable appearance, including shaving each day / keeping a beard neat & tidy
– Good organisational and communication skills
– Preferably previous delivery / warehouse experience
This is a full time position Monday to Friday with a salary of $40-45k p.a plus superannuation
The position is available immediately, however this may be amended for the right applicant if additional time is required to provide notice at current employment.
