Basile Imports is a dynamic food and wine importing company and is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to join our Brisbane team
Our dedicated warehouse and distribution team deliver goods as ordered on time and in perfect condition to major supermarkets, independent supermarkets, delicatessens, restaurants and cafes as well as liquor stores all over Brisbane.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation of daily orders
- Loading/Unloading trucks and vans for distribution to point of sale
- Performing all daily scheduled deliveries
- Checking Off all delivered stock against Invoice
- Being Diligent with delivery of goods
- Inspecting goods for conformance to quality at all times during delivery
- Ensuring that van/truck is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Complying with company policies, quality and HACCP procedures.
Must have:
- Drivers licence
- An MR licence would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Brisbane metro areas would be an advantage
Position is FULL TIME Monday-Friday (Day Shift) and is for IMMEDIATE START.
A salary suitable to the position will be negotiated subject to experience and qualifications.
