Toll Mining Services Helidon depot requires an experienced B-double driver with a dangerous goods licence.
Toll Mining Services, a business unit of Toll’s Global Resources & Government Logistics division, has current operations across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, placing Toll Mining Services as a leading operator in the mining logistics sector across Australia.
Based at our Helidon operation, we are seeking to recruit an experienced B-double long haul driver which involves working up to 12 nights away from home. The successful applicants will live locally, have a demonstrated commitment to health & safety practices and have the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team. A strong work ethic will be highly regarded.
The successful applicants will also have the following skills, experience and abilities:
- Hold current MC and DG drivers licenses
- Have previous experience in the transport or related industry transporting dangerous goods
- Experience with road train driving (desirable)
- Have completed a standard Queensland police check and/or other state equivalent within the past six months or has the ability to acquire
- Have had experience using SCBA breathing apparatus (desirable)
- Knowledge of Fatigue Management is desirable, though not essential.

The successful applicant will need to pass the medical requirements for this role and will undertake relevant inductions and training. You must be able to provide evidence of having the Right to Work in Australia. It is a prerequisite for the preferred candidate for this role to undergo a criminal background check.
